Bonnie’s Place

A resident-owned community

Welcome Home!

Bonnie’s Place is a resident-owned manufactured home community in Missoula, Mont. Bonnie’s Place is conveniently located just 2.3 miles from downtown Missoula, and less than three miles from Missoula County Big Sky Park. Our ideal setting allows for easy access to Highway 93 and we can be at Flathead Lake in about an hour. We are a friendly neighborhood for people who love outdoor activities and living in a small mountain town.

Franklin Park is less than a mile away, where we enjoy basketball, baseball and in the warmer months, a splash deck for the kiddos and afternoon picnics. Bonnie’s Place is an 11-minute drive from Missoula College and we are close to retail stores, restaurants and lots of outdoor attractions. We are centrally located for easy access to all Missoula has to offer.

Bonnie’s Place is owned by the Community Members who live here – we are a resident-owned community (ROC).

the rules

We own it

The Member homeowners of Bonnie’s Place control the rent and make the rules. On April 12, 2023, the ROC purchased the land and infrastructure, such as the roads and water lines. Now, a democratically elected Board of Directors manages the business of running Bonnie’s Place, Inc. Every Member household in the community has a say in who sits on the Board, how we spend our money, the annual budget, and whether we make changes to the rent.

We’re also part of a national network of more than 300 ROCs just like us. That membership provides us with access to expert coaching on how to run our ROC, leadership development and training, communication with dozens of community leaders who face many of the same issues we do, and more. Life in Bonnie’s Place is truly different than in a commercially owned community – we invite you to find out firsthand how that difference makes living here so much better.
